Over twenty-seven years, Carrasquillo has collaborated with over two hundred corporate clients, family businesses, and governmental and non-governmental organizations worldwide, including in Puerto Rico, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bermuda, Colombia, the United States, Jamaica, Mexico, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, South Africa, and Turkey.

His academic contributions are equally impressive. For twenty years, he balanced professional practice with teaching and research as a postgraduate studies professor in Administration at the University of the Sacred Heart in Puerto Rico. There, he pioneered the first graduate program in Administration of Non-Profit Organizations in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean in 1999. He also founded the Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Citizenship and the inaugural postgraduate program in Business Administration specializing in family businesses.

Carrasquillo’s leadership extends to numerous boards of directors in diverse sectors such as education, hospital services, non-governmental management, and organizational consulting in Puerto Rico, the United States, South Africa, and the Dominican Republic. He has been a trusted advisor to boards of directors, family councils, and governance bodies on challenges related to governance, roles, and responsibilities.

A prolific writer and speaker, Carrasquillo has authored over a hundred essays and co-authored sixteen books, with his work published in multiple countries. His insights have featured in various media outlets, academic, and professional conferences, both within and outside Puerto Rico.

In 1998, he was selected by the Inter-American Development Conference, the James P. Grant Trust, the World Bank, and the Inter-American Development Bank as one of the sixty most distinguished young social entrepreneurs in the world, becoming the sole Caribbean member of the Common Futures Forum.

In 2007, he was selected as one of the ten members of the Top Ten Management of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, recognizing him as one of the ten most outstanding management consultants in our region.

Cristina Manrique Carrasquillo has been a cornerstone of the ACCO Advisory Group since its inception nineteen years ago. In her role as office manager, she ensures seamless administrative support for all projects and services, contributing to its smooth operation.

In addition to her extensive operational and administrative experience with our firm, Cristina also boasts eighteen years of teaching experience in early childhood education within Puerto Rico’s private education system.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and another in Arts with a concentration in Psychology from the Ana G. Méndez University. Currently, Cristina is furthering her education as a graduate student in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at NUC University.

Sonia Carmona García joined the ACCO Advisory Group team in 2018 as a content designer. She assists our team of coaches and consultants with video and audio editing and is responsible for much of the artwork shared on our social networks. Sonia also designs many of our presentations, training manuals, and promotional and marketing materials. Additionally, she has curated the podcast “Soltar las trabas” by our founder and principal consultant, Alfredo Carrasquillo.

A graduate in Communications from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, with a concentration in Media Production, Sonia has also completed postgraduate studies in Business Administration at the same university and was an International Research Fellow at the Charles F. Kettering Foundation.

Her professional background extends to education and photography, with experience as a media coordinator, radio production manager, and production coordinator.

In 2019, she played a pivotal role in creating our new logo and revising ACCO Advisory Group’s brand architecture, then known as Alfredo Carrasquillo Consultoría Organizacional.

María Lola Sánchez Carrasquillo is our firm’s Social Media Manager. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Drama from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. She also holds a master’s degree in Community Social Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires and a postgraduate diploma from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO, in Spanish) in Argentina. María Lola worked at Argentina’s National Institute for Teacher Training from 2014 to 2024, where she managed team coordination, employee training, and various educational management tasks. She has also taught Community Psychology at Salvador University in Buenos Aires and led workshops in public schools and underprivileged communities there.

Since 2018, María Lola has been active in social media management and copywriting. She has developed marketing and communication strategies and managed community interactions for non-profits, educational entities, and cultural organizations in both Puerto Rico and Argentina. Her extensive experience in theater, television, cinema, and radio equips her with essential communication and creative skills, making her adept at teamwork and rapid, responsible project execution.
